Jill Smith

Jill Smith is the Arizona Program Director for Careers though Culinary Arts Program (C-CAP.) During her tenure, C-CAP AZ has awarded over 6 million dollars in culinary scholarships to underserved youth through C-CAP’s Cooking for Scholarships Competition. Jill is developing a Culinary Apprentice Program for youth that will serve high school students throughout Arizona.

Jill is a member of Les Dames D’Escoffier and the American Culinary Federation. She holds two Bachelor degrees, one in Computer Information Systems and one in Culinary Arts. When not talking about food, cooking food, or reading about food, Jill can be found gardening and tending her chickens. She also loves to travel and explore local food cultures, typically seeking out the most unusual thing to eat in that region.
