Marianne’s earliest years were in the gardens of her Long Island, NY home with Sicilian immigrant grandparents who taught her to appreciate food as sustenance, nature’s medicine and an expression of love.

After graduating Hofstra University, an Arizona vacation derailed her law enforcement career and planted her firmly in the desert. Her decades of experience includes mom & pop Italian restaurant; 1950’s themed diner; hotel/golf club dining rooms; cafe & bakery; grocery/wine markets; gelateria/coffee bar; ice cream truck; catering; private events; everything from Chef to PR/Marketing for a local restaurant group. Volunteerism includes Blue Watermelon Project, C-CAP Arizona, Local First Arizona, and American Liver Foundation.
